Sen. Tomes Will Seek Reelection in 2018

Indiana State Senator Jim Tomes has announced he will seek reelection in 2018. He has held his seat with the Indiana State Senate District 49 since 2010. Sen. Tomes looks forward to continuing to serve the people of District 49 and the great state of Indiana.
Senator Tomes currently serves on the standing committees of Agriculture, Commerce and Technology, Corrections and Criminal Law, Natural Resources, and Utilities. He's on the University of Southern Indiana Board of Advisors for the College of Nursing and Health Professions, is the director of the Second Amendment Patriots, a member and former commander of Wadesville VFW Post 6576, and a member of the Knights of St.John. Sen. Tomes has been married to Margie Tomes for 46 years, has three children and four grandchildren.

Sen. Jim Tomes states he is honored to serve at the privilege of his fellow Hoosiers and will continue to work hard for his constituents.
